whiisit, inspired by everybody

whiisit is a global social network designed to establish a new standard of communication which is based on a simple engagement between any entity and the crowd. whiisit is the 1st social network ever which filters out shaming or any other way of inflicting judgment, therefore keeping the engagement clean and under control.

The purpose of whiisit is:

To increase attachment between a brand and the following crowd.
To expand the reach of the brand to potential new crowds.

The engagement is generated by posting a question which could be comprised of text, image or both, together with two answers which were predetermined in advanced. The answers are chosen by the question composer and could also be comprised of a text, an image or the combination of both.

Once a question was composed, it is then uploaded to the Sphere - a new concept which enables the user to address a specific and a well defined crowd. The Sphere functions as Private Social Network (PSN) to which the Sphere creator invites the crowd he wishes to engage with.

A Sphere can be anything from Monday Night Poker team, to the entire Catholic population in the world, addressed by the Pope himself. It can include Politicians; Corporations; Consumers; HR departments in multinational companies; University courses and Celebrities fans. It can practically be anything.

Only the Sphere creator can address the crowd in his Sphere with questions or issues he wants to discuss. The crowd he is addressing can engage in only one way: choosing one of the two options given to him by clicking on the chosen option.


whiisit is limiting the engagement between the Sphere owner and his crowd to only choosing one option between two possibilities. The user (in this case, the one who answers the question) has no room for comments or any other form of inflicting judgment (such as the Like button). This, we believe, crystalizes the experience and increases the effectiveness of the dialogue materially

With no room for any form of judgment, whiisit enables to significantly reduce the risk of shaming or any other adverse experience which is prominent in other social networks today, by that, decreasing the anxiety involved in interacting in a social network, and therefore increases the probability of engagement

Moreover, by not enabling the crowd to comment, whiisit maintains the full control of the discussion at the hands of the Sphere owner or the question composer, since the only feedback he will receive from the crowd – regardless of its size – will be a single number: the allocation of opinions in the form of a percentage distribution (a simple bar chart).

As a new standard of communication which is based on Simplicity and No Judgment, we believe whiisit enables a Brand to effectively engage with millions of people and by doing so, increase attachment and acquire vital information about the crowd.
